Operations at the Consulate
The U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juarez would like to inform the community:
If you are scheduled for a visa appointment on Friday January 4 and are unable or unwilling to travel because of the current weather conditions, please contact the Applicant Service Center in Ciudad Juarez at: email@example.com
The Applicant Service Center staff will assist you in rescheduling your appointment for Monday January 7, or the nearest appointment available. If you are unable to email, please call the Applicant Service Center at 656-3256300
Applicants who have scheduled U.S. passport or Consular Record of Birth Abroad appointments and cannot make it to the Consulate on Friday, January 4, due to the inclement weather should reschedule through our website https://evisaforms.state.gov/acs/default.asp?postcode=CDJ&appcode=1.
Applicants must cancel the previous appointment (you will need your confirmation letter because your password will be required) in order to schedule a new one. If you have problems, please contact American Citizen Services at 656-227-3411.
In case of an emergency involving a U.S. citizen, please contact the U.S. Citizen After-Hours Emergency Line at (656)215-0725. If calling from Ciudad Juarez, dial 044 before the number. If calling from other parts of Mexico, dial 045 before the number. If calling from the U.S., dial 011- 521 before the number.
