At your Consulate appointment, you will meet with a Consular Officer for your visa interview. You must bring:

• Your DS-160 application confirmation page (click to see a sample confirmation page) (PDF 95KB).
• Original application payment receipt from Banamex.
• Your valid passport and any previous passports that were issued in the past ten years.
• DHL courier receipt.
• Your current or expired visa.
• Evidence of marital status, if applicable, such as a marriage or divorce certificate.

Additional Information

• Arrive on time for your appointment, but no more than 10 minutes early.

• If you have a current visa, it will not be returned to you.

• You will be asked to place one finger on a small electronic pad to verify that your fingerprints match the fingerprints taken at the Applicant Service Center.

• Bring your family members' visas, even if they will not be traveling with you or applying for a visa.

• All applicants must be present the day of their appointment, except minors under seven years old.

• No family members, attorneys or other friends or representatives will be allowed to accompany applicants into the Consulate, except:
  • Parents may accompany financially dependent or minor children.
  • Applicants with a handicap, disability or infirmity may be accompanied by a family member or an attendant who can assist them. Photo ID will be required for those accompanying persons with disabilities.

The Consulate DOES NOT certify or recommend any provider of visa services or documents.  Do not believe any individual or business who tells you that they either represent the Consulate or can provide you with documents or services that guarantee that you will receive a visa.  We take fraud seriously.  If you provide false information or documents, it can prevent you and your family from obtaining visas.
